Not especially strong but shaped well. If the kids don't break it from rough use, it will be fine. It fitted to the old shaft well, and the finish was fine. I also ordered a rubber one at the same time.The tip of the stick was broken so this aluminum one would not fit.The stick gets thicker as you move up.The rubber one fit and works great. I wouldn't order this item again. It is very cheap looking. I couldn't get it to fit on my pool stick. If it wasn't such a hassle to return it and I didn't shred the package, I would have returned it. Granted, it was in expensive, but wasn't worth it.
